The Facebook Sales Funnel – From Awareness to Conversion

Facebook sales funnel

Converting Facebook users into loyal customers takes more work than your average online shopper who is already searching the Internet with the intent to purchase a product or service.

When people log on to their Facebook profiles, their goal is to socialize with friends in family. They are not hoping to pull out their credit cards. For this reason, a sales funnel on Facebook is absolutely essential to your business advertising plan!

My Facebook sales funnel is what helped me become a multi-million-dollar business owner, and all it takes is the right strategy.

This post will guide you through the steps to creating the perfect sales funnel specifically for your Facebook platform, so you can increase sales and overall growth for your company.

1. Have Patience with the Platform

When creating your Facebook advertising campaign, you must put yourself in the shoes of the Facebook user.

Since their initial intent is to socialize rather than to purchase, your advertisements need to build awareness and send a solid message to consumers as to why your product may be useful to them without coming across as salesy.

Having patience in the top part of your sales funnel, especially on Facebook, is how you will create conversions at the bottom.

2. Begin your Funnel with Solid Content

The top of your Facebook sales funnel is going to rely heavily on solid content.

Use your Facebook ads to target those Facebook users who aren’t ready to buy. Slowly coax these viewers into realizing why your brand’s product or service may be beneficial to them.

This can trigger them to click your page, even if it does not immediately result in a purchase.

This is the goal of a sales funnel—to take things in small steps as opposed to large strides.

3. Target Custom and Lookalike Audiences on Facebook

In the middle of your sales funnel, you can use Facebook advertising settings to target your audience with both custom and lookalike settings.

With the custom settings, you can home in on the exact audience you think will be interested in your brand. Facebook will pick a lookalike audience based on the custom audience you have selected. This lookalike audience will be an audience with closely related interests who may also be interested in your message.

This is the part of the sales funnel where you will begin to attract and build a potential customer base.

4. Add the Facebook Pixel

It is essential in your Facebook sales funnel to add the Facebook Pixel feature to your website!

This feature tracks anyone on Facebook who visits your website; that way, you can remarket to these visitors later on.

5. Build Trust

The last and most important part of your Facebook sales funnel is to build trust with your converted customers.

This will allow those paying customers to come back, leave good reviews, and convert more sales for your company in the future.

The power of Facebook is in the people!

Facebook makes “spreading the word” happen at the speed of light. If you leave a good impression on the people you serve, they will do the work for you by distributing your product and service to everyone they know.

6. Use Funnels Throughout Your Entire Company

Facebook isn’t the only place you should utilize a sales funnel, of course!

Your entire company should revolve around a sales funnel the way mine does. I didn’t rely on Facebook alone to create exponential growth in my business. I spread my marketing strategy throughout the entire internet.

Take these Facebook sales funnel strategies and apply them to all your digital platforms. The growth you see will be huge.
